Yes, even if you did not enter Japan via Visit Japan Web, you can still pick up your items after entering Japan. Simply register for Visit Japan Web and create a tax-free 2D code if you have a landing permit for a short stay.

For in-person pickup, full payment is required at the time of reservation. For locker pickup, 20% is due at the time of reservation and the remaining 80% is due at the time of pickup. If you cancel after the cancellation deadline, a 20% fee will be charged. For in-person pickup, 80% of the payment will be refunded upon cancellation.
Can I use the hotel pickup service even if I'm not staying at the hotel?
Depending on the pickup location, some are only available to hotel guests, while others are open to non-hotel guests as well. For more details, please check the list of pickup locations:

Why can't I choose a specific pickup date (time) when placing an order?
The earliest possible delivery time for your item is based on the following factors:
(1) Product availability, (2) Time required to procure the item, (3) Shipping logistics, and (4) Availability of free lockers.
Please check the pickup time on the payment page when completing your payment. Note that you can only pick up your order at the time specified on the website.When can I place an order? Also, when is the deadline for orders?
Orders can be placed 3 months in advance.
The order deadline is 11:59 PM (JST), 3 days before the scheduled pick-up date. This does not apply to orders placed on holidays and public holidays.Please check the website for details.
Do I need to pay when I make a purchase reservation?
20% of the purchase price will be charged as a reservation fee.
When you receive the product, you will be charged for the product, but the 20% reservation fee will be applied as part of the product price.
When retrieving the items, please pay the amount after deducting the reservation fee from the product price.Which payment methods do you accept?

Payments can only be made online. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and American Express. WeChatPay users can pay the remaining balance using WeChatPay when picking up items.
*Please note that electronic money, such as Suica and other app-based payment methods, are not accepted.
About packaging: (1) Can the items be packed separately? (2) Can liquids be packed separately? (3) I ordered a large quantity—can everything be put in the same locker? (4) Will my order come with paper shopping bags?
(1) No, all items will be placed in the same clear tax-free bag.
(2) No, liquids will also be placed in the same clear tax-free bag.
(3) Items are placed in lockers based on each individual order. If you have multiple orders, they will not be placed in the same locker. Additionally, if one order contains many items, they may be split across more than one locker.
(4) No, paper shopping bags are not included.Are the services provided by WAmazing available when using JTTP (Japan Trusted Traveler Program)?
Unfortunately, the services offered by WAmazing Shop are not available to those using JTTP.

Can I receive my items on a day other than the departure date?
You can pick up your items anytime during your stay in Japan. However, please make sure to adhere to the selected pickup date and time.
Can I open the sealed tax-free bag while still in Japan?
If your purchase consists only of general goods (such as electronics, watches, etc.), these items will be placed in a tax-free bag but can be opened and used while being in Japan.
However, if your purchase contains both consumables and general goods, all items will be placed in a tax-free bag.
According to Japan's tax exemption regulations, goods and food purchased at tax-free prices must be taken out of Japan before being used. If you open the tax-free bag during your stay in Japan, you may be required to pay tax upon departure.

How to pick up the products?

Where are the pickup lockers located? Are they before customs? In the departure area?
All of our lockers are located within train stations and airport premises.
Pickup must be completed before passing through security checks (before departure).
We recommend retrieving your items from the lockers before check-in.
*If picking up upon arrival, you can collect your items after immigration.
*If your purchase includes liquids over 100ml, we recommend packing them in your checked luggage (rather than carry-on baggage.)

Facial recognition and identity verification are required. Please bring the following items:
(1) Recipient’s Passport with IC Chip
The passport must belong to the recipient. (Someone else’s passport cannot be used.) If your passport does not contain an IC chip, pickup will not be possible.
(2) Landing Permit
*Stamped on your passport upon entry into Japan.
*This service is not available to cabin attendants, transit passengers, or individuals with a Japanese visa status who did not receive a "Landing Permit" stamp upon entry (including JTTP holders).
(3) Internet-Enabled Mobile Phone
Please be sure to bring a cell phone that can connect to the Internet, as internet access is required for payment.(4) Payment by credit card is required at the time of picking up the items.

Due to the law, we are unable to proceed with the tax exemption procedure and cannot hand over the items.
After scanning my passport and verifying my identity, an error message appeared, and I cannot proceed. What should I do?
There is a possibility that you may not meet the tax exemption qualifications, such as if your passport has expired, your residence status is not "Temporary Visitor," or if the person captured in the camera does not match the one registered in the passport. Alternatively, there may be a system error.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact us with your "Landing Sticker" attached to confirm your identity so that we can support to ensure that you can receive your items.Is it possible to receive the product if the purchaser was unable to complete the tax exemption verification due to his/her own reasons?
In accordance with the law, failure to complete the tax exemption verification procedure will result in the inability to purchase tax-free items.
How long does the pick-up take?
The process can be completed in about 5-10 minutes. You will need an active internet connection and to be logged in to our website beforehand, and have your passport, credit card (or wechatpay) to pay the remaining balance.
To avoid possible congestion, please arrive at least two hours before your flight time.
About change the order

Once the order is completed, no changes can be made. If you need to modify the details, please cancel the order and place a new one.
Payment

The payment amount is over JPY 5,000, but I cannot make the payment.
To qualify for tax exemption, the law requires that purchases must exceed JPY 5,000 from a single seller. If the purchase is made only from WAmazing Shop, the amount must exceed JPY 5,000 within the store.
If alcoholic beverages (Tokyu Department Store) are included, the total amount of alcoholic beverages alone must exceed JPY 5,000 or more. The total amount cannot be combined with products from WAmazing Shop or other sellers.
If you are purchasing only pharmaceutical products (seller: Sugi Pharmacy), you can purchase them if the amount exceeds JPY 1,000 since they are not tax exempt.
About cancel order

Is there a cancellation fee ?
No cancellation fee will be charged if it cancellations are made before the product is shipped.
After shipment, a cancellation fee of 20% of the product price will be charged.
The timing of shipment depends on the product purchased.

If I cancel my order, can I reuse the coupon code I applied to the order?
If you cancel before the deadline, any used coupons will be refunded.

If I order now, will the shelf life of the food be shorter?
The expiration date of food products is based on the shipping date, not the order date. We ensure that products shipped will have at least one-third of their shelf life remaining when they reach you.
So, if you place an order now for future delivery, the expiration date will not be shortened.Are pharmaceutical products eligible for tax exemption?
Pharmaceutical products (seller: Sugi Pharmacy) are not eligible for tax exemption.
If you are purchasing only pharmaceutical products (seller: Sugi Pharmacy), you can purchase them if the amount exceeds JPY 1,000 since they are not tax exempt.
In addition, since pharmaceutical products are not tax exempt, the payment will be made at 100% including tax instead of the 20% reservation fee.Are these items sold by WAmazing also available at airports in Japan?
Some items are available at duty-free stores at airports in Japan, but some items are exclusive to WAmazing (directly purchased by manufacturers/wholesalers).
